My guitars are usually spread over 3 cities, Dublin, Nottingham and London, so I cannot bring a complete list to mind. Here's most of them:

Mr C, I notice watching a lot of YouTube videos that you and the other Pogues play what seems like a variety of instruments. Did you endorse any particular maker?

how do you like this one? i've always thought their mandolins were the best electric acoustic ones around (ok, the best for under $1000), and see the guitars used every so often. was thinking about getting one for my son.

James has some sort of deal with his accordion manufacturer, or used to, I'm not quite sure. But as a rule, our instruments are bought and paid for out of our own pockets.

Godin electro-acoustic

how do you like this one? i've always thought their mandolins were the best electric acoustic ones around (ok, the best for under $1000), and see the guitars used every so often. was thinking about getting one for my son.

The Godin guitars were the best when they first came on the market, because they provided good level without nasty feedback. However, the technology of acoustic guitar pickups has increased enormously since then and I personally prefer playing an acoustic guitar that actually looks like an acoustic, so I reverted to a Martin Dreadnought a few years ago. It's worth pointing out however that Paul Scully, our front of house sound man, would still rather I played the Godin. I use it on a couple of the "Hell's Ditch" songs still.

I have one of those Godin mandolins and they are absolutely wonderful to play and they sound great amplified!
