I was there Saturday night at Bobital. I m britain and it was my first Pogues concert. It was incredible, one hudred thousand britains dancing on Sally Maclelan and Fiesta! Shane was almost sober, amazing! And Spider sang tuesday morning, we although heard Streams of wiskey, Boys from county hell, Kitty, If i should fall... Pogues haven't played in Brittain for 7 years, I hope they 'll be back soon!!

The Pogues in France.... What a long time... The show was amazing. Shane was very fine. All the members seemed to have fun.
Shane played with microphone and we could see him dancing.

They played a traditional show but it was shorter than usual. Here is the songs they played.. sorry if the order is not good and if I forgot some :

I was there, it was my first Pogues concert (i'm from brittany), I was on the first rank just in front of Spider, suffocating between the wild crowd and the barrier ... It was so great, of course too short , i could have staid listening and singing one hour more !!! Thank you to all the members, I lived a wonderful moment, you're so great... Please come back soon to France !!

I'm just back home from France and I agree with the guests. It was fantastic! The band really seemed to enjoy themselves.
It was great to see Philip back on stage. I would have loved to hear him sing Thousands are Sailing. Maybe next time...

And another great thing about the festival: in the afternoon there was a massive French 80's Top of the Pops alike playback show. I think they pulled all the French one hit wonders of the 80's out of the gutter and put them back on stage! Really funny.
Oh yes, and the Sex Pistols played there too.

It had some negative points too: it was sponsored by Heineken!
