And another new title. I'm no longer just the king of computer morons, but now the schlep of multi-media. What do I click on?
Lovely picture of J.D. Wilkes though.

Right below the setlist you will see: Link to the MP3s and the link to click is the next line which reads: YouSendIt link which is what you actually click on.
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

AS an old feller, this is the best show I ve been too in years... have not seen so much genuine excitement in a crowd for a long time, if this was on some ones land this party would have gone to the wee hours. Shane was on it... the drinking show at the end during fiesta was for show for sure, a true drunk doesnt spill that much booze... speaking from experience here. we'll wait for you next year pogues!!!

cheers willie!

Finally, someone has the good sense to notice that the wine in "Fiesta" is, to all intents and purposes, a stage prop. Good grief, next we'll hear Shane doesn't drink whiskey on stage!

Glad you had a good time, Willie.

Thank you sir....mission accomplished. Actually quite surprised with the sound quality. I have one question though, for anyone who cares to elaborate........how does something like this differ from that area, (cough,) that is out of bounds?
Really not trying to start a heated debate, just curious.

I'll assume that's directed at me.

It's borderline "making arrangements," but it's obvious to anyone that looks that the link is to another site, completely unassociated with Medusa, and that Medusa is neither promoting/encouraging these downloads NOR discouraging them.

I don't consider links to other places a Bad Thing so long as the other side of the link is a web page (as opposed to a direct link to the audio files), is clearly not associated with us, and there is no implication that we are advocating or encouraging the bootlegging.

Assumption incorrect D. I honestly wasn't taking a poke at you. I mentioned that I wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer regarding these damn computers.

And then I have to listen to a 20-something co-worker laughing at me when I tell him that I BOUGHT a CD. "Dude, it's all free on the net."

A poke? Not at all. It seemed like a good question to me, which is why I answered it. :)

And incidentally, the site does appear to offer the artist the opportunity to request the removal of the recording, but they put that so nicely that I saw no reason to act upon their suggestion. Consider it a free live album. It certainly sounds better than the hated Streams of Whiskey album.

It's a decent recording of a great show!

Speaking of Denver - did any of the band notice any effects of the altitude? I was in Silverton, Colorado last year - 12,000 feet, and got winded climbing 2 flights of stairs to the hotel room.

That's not altitude, that's old age....

I spent 2 weeks in Lahsa, Tibet and a couple of nights at Lake Namso 15500 above sea level. I did experience shortness of breath up at the lake but not in Lahsa. It was clear that people do have different experiences at these altitudes as others in Lahsa were really suffering form the elevation.

Okay, well, I'm extremely late in posting, as I just noticed this, but it was a great show. Unfortunately, my para-aesthetics were off a bit as I was fighting to keep my space at the front after arriving wayyyyy too early, but it was a damn good show. And I was happy Philip came over to my side of the stage to sing "Thousands Are Sailing," which has been one of my favorite Pogues songs for a long while. And I got a wink from Darryl after shouting his name as he was right in front of me.
I'm glad to see that I can experience the show again without the distractions, although sadly without the visual.

Did you know that the Grateful Dead's "business model" is now studied in business colleges?
